Dr. Gherghina attended Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine and went on to complete a dermoscopy fellowship followed by a four-year dermatology residency. He was chief resident in his final year of residency at Larkin Hospital in Miami. Following residency, he completed a one-year fellowship in Mohs micrographic surgery.
