Dr. Gherghina attended Nova Southeastern University Dr. Kiran C. Patel College of Osteopathic Medicine and went on to complete a dermoscopy fellowship followed by a four-year dermatology residency. He was chief resident in his final year of residency at Larkin Community Hospital in Miami. Following residency, he completed a one-year fellowship in Mohs micrographic surgery.

With more than a decade in medicine, Dr. Gherghina's experience spans cosmetic dermatology, injectables, laser dermatologic surgery, dermoscopy, skin cancer and Mohs micrographic surgery.
