Cheek Filler Injections at
Cosmetica Med Spa

Cheek Filler in Boca Raton, Florida

More than 2.5 million people had dermal filler injections in 2018. Many had injections below the eyes or around the lips. But in our Boca Raton med spa, we’ve discovered that many people will benefit from plumper cheeks that lift sagging skin and give the appearance of a constant, mild smile.

As you age, your face loses both fat and collagen, creating hollowness, sagging skin, more wrinkles, and deeper lines on your forehead and around your mouth. A cheek filler can temporarily plump the skin in the area, improving skin tautness.

Many modern cheek fillers also boost collagen production. As the filler wears away and you lose some plumpness, you will not develop wrinkles and crow’s feet immediately.

Types of Cheek Filler Used at Cosmetica Med Spa

The team at Cosmetica Med Spa is committed to making you look beautiful. We’ll work with you to find the filler that’s just right for your underlying bone structure.

We often use the cheek fillers listed below, but we often give our clients different products that might work a little better for them. We’ll assess your situation and determine which type of filler will work best for you.

Juvéderm Voluma

Juvéderm Voluma is specifically designed to correct age-related dips and sags in the middle of the face. Our older patients appreciate how soft and smooth their faces look when we inject this product.

Juvéderm Ultra

Juvéderm Ultra delivers results that last for a year. We use this product for facial wrinkles and folds, but we can also use it to plump the lips and give you a smile that matches your new cheeks.

Juvéderm Ultra Plus XC

Severe wrinkles and facial folds respond beautifully to Juvéderm Ultra Plus XC. This gel-based cheek filler works quickly, and it’s a product we recommend for patients with very deep lines or thinning cheeks.

Restylane Lyft

Restylane Lyft is FDA approved to treat both your cheeks and your hands. Ingredients attract water from nearby cells, delivering a fuller and plumper appearance and smoothing out wrinkles.

Restylane Contour

Restylane Contour is designed to deliver natural-looking results. Our patients tell us their cheeks look fuller and more refined, and their wrinkles seem faded and harder to find too.

Cheek Filler Treatment Process at Cosmetica Med Spa

Pre-Treatment Consultation

A consultation starts the cheek filler process at Cosmetica Med Spa. We’d like to hear about your goals, and together, we’ll choose the product that’s right for you. We will ask you to avoid aspirin and alcohol to help you prepare for your appointment and minimize bruising.

During Treatment

When you arrive for your fillers, we’ll apply a topical numbing agent to keep you comfortable. Injections take just a few minutes, and we’ll give you cold packs to reduce swelling and discomfort.

After Your Cheek Filler Treatment

You can go home the same day, and you won’t need to miss work. We’ll ask you to avoid strenuous activities, tight goggles or masks, and facial massage to help your tissues heal faster.

Benefits of Cheek Filler Injections

Most cheek fillers we use in our Boca Raton salon are made with hyaluronic acid — a substance that occurs naturally within your body.

This substance can provide dramatic improvements in just minutes. And it dissolves naturally, so you won’t need another procedure to remove it later.

How Long Do Cheek Fillers Last?

Cheek filler typically lasts between six months and one year, so you do not need to get injections more frequently than that. Some fillers last for multiple years, but hyaluronic acid fillers typically dissolve after 12 months.

Your body’s metabolism can alter exactly how effective and long-lasting these fillers are. You’ll get a firmer timeline of how long cheek fillers last for you after you receive the procedure once or twice.

Frequently Asked Questions

These are some of the most frequently asked questions we’ve heard about getting cheek fillers in Boca Raton, Florida:

What is a cheek filler?

A cheek filler is a substance injected via a needle to plump up the cheeks and reduce the appearance of age-related hollowness. In studies of dermal fillers, most people are satisfied with their treatment results.

Are cheek fillers safe?

The dermal fillers we use at Cosmetica Med Spa are FDA approved and safe. Since they’re injected with needles, a small risk of infection exists. But we keep our clinic sterilized to keep our patients safe. Issues are rare.

How much do cheek filler injections cost in Boca Raton, FL?

The average cost of cheek filler ranges from $600 to $1,200 per syringe, and the number of syringes of filler you need can vary a lot. If you want very full cheeks, you might need several syringes of cheek filler, but if you want a subtle plumping, you might only need one or two.

How painful is getting cheek fillers?

We work hard in our Boca Raton salon to help our patients feel calm and comfortable. Cheek fillers are rarely painful when applied by skilled hands, but the injections can be slightly uncomfortable. Some people compare the sensation to getting a shot or giving blood.
