Non-Surgical Tummy Tuck at Cosmetica Med Spa
Non-Surgical Tummy Tuck in Boca Raton, Florida
Non-surgical tummy tucks, which might be more accurately called non-surgical tummy tuck alternatives, are procedures that can potentially produce similar results to those of a surgical tummy tuck but are much less invasive.
Many of the most popular of these types of procedures include CoolSculpt, ThermiTight, and EMSCULPT, all of which can help reshape a person’s tummy area without any need for surgery and at significantly lower cost.
How Does a Non-Surgical Tummy Tuck Work?
While all three of these procedures can help to sculpt the body to a desired shape, the way in which they do so is fairly different:
CoolSculpt
CoolSculpting is a procedure that can be used to treat fat bulges in various parts of the body, including the abdomen. It uses a special device that can apply immense cold to a highly targeted area, freezing fat cells and destroying them.
ThermiTight
In some ways, the ThermiTight procedure is CoolSculpt’s opposite, using advanced temperature-controlled radio frequency technology to heat targeted areas of the body to change its shape and look. This heat can stimulate collagen, which is a key part of what makes skin look smooth, youthful, and healthy.
EMSCULPT
EMSCULPT uses high-intensity electromagnetic therapy to firm and tone muscles, which can help give the abdomen and various other parts of the body a more muscled and fit look. The procedure is basically like an intense workout, except a machine stimulates your muscles rather than intense exercise.
Benefits of a Non-Surgical Tummy Tuck
All three of the options discussed here are non-surgical. While any procedure carries risks and no procedure will work for everyone, they are all generally safer than a surgical tummy tuck and have a much shorter recovery window (if they have any recovery window).
Most people receiving any of these procedures can expect at worst some mild aching and discomfort in the area of the procedure for a few days. Even this discomfort is rarely substantial, with most people able to go back to work, school, or similar activities immediately.
Side Effects & Risks of Getting a Non-Surgical Tummy Tuck
The most common side effects associated with CoolSculpting include the following:
- Muscular pain
- Temporary muscle spasm
- Temporary joint or tendon pain
- Redness at or near the treatment site
The most common side effects associated with ThermiTight include the following:
- Transient pain in procedure area
- Erythema (temporary skin reddening)
- Edema (swelling)
The most common side effects associated with EMSCULPT include those you would also associate with intense exercise, such as muscle soreness and tightness in the affected areas.
All these procedures have some small level of risk associated with them, and they also aren’t for everyone. For example, people who are pregnant or have certain health conditions may be ineligible for these procedures.
CoolSculpting has a rare side effect associated with it, which seems to occur in between 0.1% and 0.01% of cases. Swelling can occur months after the procedure, which may need to be corrected with surgery.
While these procedures can cause some mild discomfort when being performed, they shouldn’t generally be notably painful. If you feel strange or in serious discomfort while getting any of these procedures done, let the expert working on you know, so they can make any adjustments accordingly or stop altogether if something is wrong.
How Much Does a Non-Surgical Tummy Tuck Cost in Boca Raton, FL?
The costs of these procedures can vary, but some averages to set your expectations are as follows:
- CoolSculpting: $2,000–$4000
- ThermiTight: $2,500–$5000
- EMSCULPT: $3,000–$4000
One factor likely to impact the cost of your procedure is the extent of work you want done, with more work generally resulting in a higher price tag.
