A wellness drip or urgent care?
IV therapy at a med spa is for feeling better when you're basically well: run down, dehydrated after heat or exercise, or recovering from travel. Some symptoms need a doctor first.

When Deerfield clients come in

What happens at your visit
- A short health screening: your history, medications and what you're hoping to feel.
- A licensed provider places a small IV, usually in the arm.
- You relax in a private room while it runs, about 30 to 60 minutes for most drips.
- You're free to drive and carry on with your day afterward.
NAD+ and vitamin shots
NAD+ is infused slowly over two hours or more, and if you feel flushing, nausea or tightness in your chest, slowing the drip usually settles it. Research on NAD+ is still developing. A vitamin shot is the fast option: a quick injection, a little redness or itching at the site that fades, and you're out the door.
Afterward
Keep the bandage on for about 15 minutes, or an hour if you bruise easily. Drink at least 24 ounces of water through the rest of the day and give exercise a 2-hour break. A small bruise is common. Call us if anything at the IV site worries you.
Check with us first if
you have heart failure, kidney disease or high blood pressure, G6PD deficiency, a condition that limits how much fluid you can take, or you're pregnant or breastfeeding. We may suggest a different option.

Every drip is given by licensed medical professionals, with Dr. Andrei Gherghina, DO, a board-certified dermatologist, as our medical director. We're open seven days a week from 8am to 8pm, so evening and weekend drips are easy to book.
