When Delray clients come in
- After a long, hot day at the beach or out on the boat
- The morning after a late night on Atlantic Avenue
- Before or after a long flight
- During a draining stretch at work
- After a race, a long ride or a tough training block
Your visit
We review your health history and medications, a provider places a small IV in your arm, and you relax in a private room while it runs. Bring your phone or a book. When the drip finishes you can drive and get on with your day.
NAD+: plan for a longer visit
NAD+ has to run slowly, so set aside a couple of hours. If you feel flushing, nausea or chest tightness while it's running, tell your provider. Slowing the drip usually eases it. NAD+ research is still evolving, and your provider will talk through what it can and can't do for you.
Vitamin shots
A vitamin shot takes a few minutes. A little burning, redness or itching at the injection site is normal and fades quickly. Most people repeat them every 2 to 4 weeks, as your provider recommends.
After your drip
- Leave the bandage on for 15 minutes, or an hour if you bruise easily.
- Drink at least 24 ounces of water over the rest of the day, and rest if you can.
- Hold off on exercise for 2 hours.
- A small bruise at the IV site is common. Call (561) 621-1578 if anything at the site concerns you.
Who should talk to us first
Let us know before booking if you have heart or kidney disease, high blood pressure, G6PD deficiency or a condition that limits fluids, or if you're pregnant or breastfeeding. Your screening may point to a different option.
What to ask any IV provider
- Who screens me, and who places the IV?
- Which doctor oversees the service? Ours is overseen by Dr. Andrei Gherghina, DO, a board-certified dermatologist.
- What exactly is in the drip, and at what dose?
- What happens if I feel unwell during the infusion?
Good IV therapy is about hydration and nutrients, with clear answers about what a drip can and can't do.

A drip delivers fluids plus vitamins over 30 to 60 minutes. A vitamin shot is a quick injection, such as B12, that takes a few minutes.

Usually two hours or more, because it has to be infused slowly to stay comfortable.
Can I exercise after a drip?
Wait about 2 hours, and drink at least 24 ounces of water through the rest of the day.
Is IV therapy safe?
It's given by licensed medical professionals after a health screening. Tell us about any heart, kidney or blood pressure conditions before your visit.
